Job summary

Brockenhurst College invites applications for a Learning Hub Manager. The role is full time, term time only, permanent, with a competitive salary of £33,485 - £35,529 per annum pro rata. It spans 37 hours per week across 40 weeks per year, with flexibility to work hours as needed to fulfil duties.

The Learning Hub Manager will run the day-to-day operations and drive developments in learning resources to support student learning and enhance the learner experience.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learning spaces or libraries is advantageous.
• Strong customer-service orientation and ability to engage students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Learning Hub and create an engaging, inclusive learning environment.
• Promote the Learning Hub and encourage use of facilities by students and staff.
• Create interactive displays to inspire curiosity and connect learning to current events.
• Support students with learning needs and signpost to resources.
• Coordinate inductions for new students and staff to introduce the Learning Hub services.
• Manage learning resources (e-books, e-journals, study materials) to stay current with curriculum.
• Liaise with Directors and Curriculum Leaders to ensure resources meet student needs.
• Oversee Brock Pantry and Learning Hub shop; manage stock and ordering.
• Manage loan of books, laptops and other equipment; monitor overdue items.
• Maintain the Library Management System with accurate cataloguing and stock checks.
