Job summary

Edvance Recruitment is supporting a primary school in High Wycombe to recruit a motivated teaching assistant passionate about helping children in the classroom.

The role is full-time, 5 days a week from 8:30 to 15:30, involving 1-1 support for children with ASD/ADHD or other SEND needs.

The school and Edvance provide on-the-job and in-service training, ongoing consultant support, and pay of £95-£105 per day depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with ASD/ADHD in 1-1 or small group settings.
• Strong communication and a calm, friendly approach.
• Reliable and resilient in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Work 1-1 and in small groups with children with ASD/ADHD or other SEND needs
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support classroom learning
• Attend training and safeguarding checks
