Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is seeking a School Support Worker for a SEND school in Bury. The role focuses on supporting pupils aged 11-19 with complex SEND, including autism, in a calm and engaging learning environment. CPD is provided to help transition skills into education.

DBS checks are required before appointment. Hours are 8.30am-3.00pm, term-time style, with a weekly pay arrangement via PAYE. A competitive weekly rate reflects experience, and the role offers progression opportunities

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting children or adults as a Support Worker.
• Be willing to provide personal care.
• Be able to work as a team with other staff to create a calm learning environment.
• Willing to apply for a DBS check or have an updated DBS on the update service.
