Job summary

Dovetail And Slate Ltd in London is seeking an experienced SEND Curriculum Manager to lead Supported Learning provision at an FE college. This interim role targets curriculum leadership with a strong SEND background, delivering inclusive education from Pre-Entry to Level 1 and ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.

You will manage teaching and support staff, oversee curriculum planning and delivery, monitor attendance and progression using data, and ensure compliance with funding

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Curriculum Manager or equivalent leadership role in Further Education.
• Strong SEND, Supported Learning, Foundation Learning or High Needs background.
• Experience managing teaching and support staff.
• Understanding of curriculum design, quality assurance, funding compliance and learner outcomes.
• Experience supporting learners with additional needs, including EHCP outcomes.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Relevant teaching qualification and leadership training, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of high-quality SEND and Supported Learning programmes from Pre-Entry to Level 1.
• Manage and support teaching and support staff, driving performance, accountability and professional development.
• Oversee curriculum planning and delivery, ensuring provision meets learners' needs and supports progression.
• Monitor attendance, retention, achievement and progression, using data to drive improvement.
• Maintain compliance with funding regulations, quality assurance requirements and relevant educational standards.
• Contribute to internal and external audits, Ofsted inspections and quality reviews.
• Manage curriculum budgets and resources effectively.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop inclusive practices and improve learner outcomes.
