Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a SEND Lecturer (Construction) to work in Northampton on a temp-to-perm basis. The role focuses on helping learners with SEND build practical construction skills, confidence and employability in a supportive FE setting.

You will deliver construction lessons, provide cover across sessions, differentiate resources, support EHCP targets, monitor progress and maintain high Health & Safety standards in workshop environments.

Qualifications

• Experience as SEND Lecturer/Teacher in FE or similar settings.
• Strong EHCP knowledge and differentiation for diverse needs.
• Ability to deliver practical construction sessions and adapt content.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured lessons for SEND learners, adapting for various needs.
• Provide cover for Construction sessions to support timetable.
• Differentiate resources to promote progress, confidence and independence.
• Support behaviour for learning with consistent routines.
• Collaborate with staff to implement EHCP targets and learning plans.
• Track attendance and progression and contribute to reviews.
• Maintain Health & Safety in practical environments.
