Job summary

Buckinghamshire College Group is seeking a dedicated SEND Community Coach for the Wycombe campus to support small groups of students with EHCPs, helping them develop crucial life skills. The role is full-time, 37 hours per week, term-time only (38 weeks per year), with potential job share/flexibility.

You will design coaching plans aligned with EHCP outcomes, collaborate with SEND Support and external professionals, and promote independence and wellbeing among learners.

Qualifications

• Provide tailored support to SEND students, including those on the autistic spectrum.
• Support small groups and individuals in community settings to prepare for adulthood.
• Contribute to EHCPs and create individualised learner profiles and support plans.
• Work collaboratively with curriculum teams, specialist services, and external agencies such as CAMHS and Social Workers.
• Promote independence, emotional wellbeing, and confidence in learners.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to SEND students, including those on the autistic spectrum.
