Job summary

Buckinghamshire College Group in Wycombe is seeking an ESOL Lecturer to support students with functional skills and progression into cross-college provision. The role is full-time, 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, based at the Wycombe Campus.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering schemes of work and learning programmes, supporting diverse learners in a safe, inclusive environment, and addressing barriers to learning.

Qualifications

• DELTA or CELTA required.
• Proven ability to plan innovative schemes of work and assessment schedules.
• Experience delivering ESOL or functional skills to diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare schemes of work, lesson plans and assessment schedules.
• Plan and deliver learning programmes for diverse groups in a safe, inclusive environment.
• Address learners’ barriers to learning and support progression into cross-college provision.
• Work evenings or weekends for up to 4 hours if required.
