Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking a compassionate Classroom Support Assistant to assist children and young people in a Birmingham school. You will provide one-to-one and small-group support, plan activities, and work with teachers to monitor progress and wellbeing in a safe, inclusive environment.

The role values patient, flexible individuals with strong communication and teamwork skills, and experience in education is desirable but not essential. DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support for pupils within the classroom and assist with their development.
• Plan and deliver personalised, engaging activities tailored to each student’s needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Support the maintenance of a safe and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
• Remain informed about daily routines and the individual needs of pupils in your care.
