Fieldstone School in Newton Abbot is seeking a SEND Class Teacher to join its therapeutic and specialist team. You will support SEMH needs, plan adaptive lessons, and build trusting relationships to help students engage and progress in a nurturing environment.

Join a collaborative team to balance academic teaching with pastoral care, work with families and external professionals, and contribute to safeguarding and personalised learning that meets each child’s needs.

Qualifications

• Teaching degree required.
• Experience teaching within primary education.
• Experience of, or a strong interest in, SEND and SEMH education.
• Understands the importance of relationships in supporting learning and behaviour.
• Is resilient, adaptable and solution-focused.
• Brings creativity, patience and a genuine passion for helping young people succeed.
• Thrives as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
• Driving licence required.
