Job summary

Gladstone Primary Academy's SEND Gateway Provision is seeking a SEND Class Teacher to lead high-needs classrooms, supporting up to 14 pupils in each pathway and delivering personalised learning aligned to EHCP outcomes.

You will work closely with Room Leads, families and external professionals to create a nurturing, structured environment where pupils are challenged, engaged and empowered to reach their full potential.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with SEND experience.
• Experience delivering student-centred learning within a SEND environment.
• Strong assessment, personalised learning and inclusive teaching strategies.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead provision across two specialist high-needs classrooms.
• Plan and deliver personalised learning aligned to EHCP outcomes.
• Work with Room Leads, support staff, families and external professionals.
• Create a nurturing, structured environment where pupils thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
