Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated SEND Class Teacher to join an inspirational SEND School in Cramlington on a full-time, long-term basis starting ASAP. ECTs are welcome, with the school supporting pupils across Primary and Secondary with a range of SEND including SLD, ASD, ADHD and SEMH.

Qualifications

• QTS and UK teaching experience required.
• Enhanced DBS desirable or process can be arranged.
• Ability to plan, deliver and differentiate for diverse SEND needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons to small classes of SEND pupils.
• Differentiate lessons to meet individual needs and learning styles.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants to monitor progress and behaviour.
• Support pupils with challenging behaviour and build positive relationships.
