Job summary

Lincolnshire County Council is seeking a SEND Level 1 Caseworker to manage caseloads of young people requiring EHC provision. You will coordinate statutory assessments, reviews, and work with families to reflect their views in planning and provision.

The role requires collaboration across education, health, social care and the third sector, helping deliver statutory SEND duties and measurable outcomes for children and young people.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health, Education or Social Care.
• Significant experience with children/young people in health, education or social care.
• Ability to work in close partnership with children, families, schools and agencies.
• Extensive knowledge of SEND legislation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with drive and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of young people with EHC Plans.
• Coordinate and support statutory assessment and annual reviews.
• Engage with young people and families to reflect views in planning.
• Liaise with education, health, social care and third sector partners.
• Support delivery of statutory SEND duties and outcomes.
