Job summary

Lincolnshire County Council is seeking a passionate Social Worker Level 1 to join the Community Wellbeing Team in Lincolnshire. You will provide statutory professional social care to adults and families, promoting independence and well‑being while developing your professional skills within a supportive team.

You will manage a caseload, undertake needs assessments, collaborate with health professionals and partners, and contribute to care planning and safeguarding as part of place‑based services.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification as a Social Worker.
• Current SWE Social Work Registration.
• Demonstrable commitment to continuous professional development.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation underpinning statutory Adult Care Practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide statutory professional social care work within a Community Wellbeing Team to support adults with differing needs.
• Manage a caseload with supervision and advice from senior colleagues.
• Undertake needs assessments to identify care and support needs and promote independence and outcomes.
• Work with multi‑agency partners to deliver joined‑up services and safeguard adults as required.
• Maintain case notes, write reports, and contribute to care planning and service development.

Education

Professional qualification as a Social Worker
