Job summary

Lancashire County Council is seeking an experienced SEND ART Brokerage Manager to lead the Access to Resource Team and secure high-quality education placements for children and young people with SEND. You will work closely with schools, providers and partners to oversee placement activity and ensure value for money.

Lancashire County Council is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and solution-focused professional to join our Access to Resource Team (ART) as a SEND ART Brokerage Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to secure high-quality education placements and support services for children and young people with SEND.

About The Role

You will lead a team of Brokerage Officers, work closely with schools, providers and partners, oversee complex placement activity, support market engagement and ensure placements deliver excellent outcomes and value for money.

What We Are Looking For

Experience within SEND, education, commissioning, brokerage or children's services. Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, excellent negotiation skills, resilience, and a commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people.
