Job summary

Engage Education is working with SEN schools in the Salford area to recruit Apprentice Teaching Assistants for the full academic year. The role focuses on providing 1:1 and small group SEN support to children with complex needs, while building rapport and communicating with staff.

The position runs Monday to Friday, September 2026 to July 2027, with opportunities for a permanent role upon course completion and access to free online CPD. A paid apprenticeship path is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children in any capacity.
• Enhanced DBS on update service desirable but NOT mandatory.
