Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Hartlepool is seeking a dedicated SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 6 pupil with challenging behaviour in a welcoming primary school.

You will provide one-to-one academic, social and emotional support, implement behaviour strategies, and work closely with teachers, SENCOs and parents to meet individual needs, helping the pupil engage with learning and stay inclusive. This is a full-time role with training and potential for permanence.

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a dedicated and resilient SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 6 pupil with challenging behaviour at a welcoming primary school in Hartlepool.

This rewarding role requires a patient and proactive individual who can build strong relationships, promote positive behaviour, and help a pupil engage successfully with their learning.

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 6 pupil.
• Supporting the pupil's academic, social, and emotional development.
• Implementing behaviour management strategies to encourage positive outcomes.
