Compass Community Schools is seeking an experienced SENCO to lead teaching and learning across regional sites. You will assess, support and oversee EHCP reviews, while keeping a hands-on, child-centered approach to overcome barriers to education. The role combines classroom teaching with strategic SENCO responsibilities.

You will collaborate with regional leaders to ensure consistent SEND practice, work with families, and drive inclusive, trauma-informed education across the network.

Competenze

• QTS is required for eligibility.
• SENCo qualification or willingness to undertake within 2 years.
• Proven teaching practice at good or outstanding level.
• Knowledge of JCQ access arrangements.
• Strong communication and emotional intelligence.
• Solid understanding of SEND Code of Practice.
