Job summary

Horizon Care and Education Group is seeking an inspirational SENCO for Olympus Academy in Croydon, South London. The role focuses on leading SEN provision for pupils aged 11–19 with SEND/SEMH needs, supported by SLT and Education Directorates.

You will drive inclusive teaching, collaborate with local authorities, and champion high-quality outcomes for every pupil within a dynamic school setting.

Qualifications

• Must have SENCO qualification or near completion.
• Must have QTS status.
• Contribute to high-quality teaching and learning.
• Experience working with local authorities.
• Passion for helping all young people succeed.

We are looking for an inspirational SENCO at Olympus Academy in Croydon.

Olympus is an independent specialist day school providing high-quality education for boys and girls. Based in South Croydon, the school meets the diverse needs of pupils aged 11-19 with Special Educational Needs (SEN) including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Needs .

At Horizon Care and Education, our SENCOs are supported by Headteachers, Operational Directors and the Managing Director of Education Services. This structure of support allows Senior Leadership Teams to focus on and deliver the best outcomes for children, young people, and their families.

The successful applicants will need:

• Must hold a SENCOQualification or be close to completing
