Job summary

Horizon Care and Education Group is seeking an inspirational SENCO for Olympus Academy in Croydon, South London. The role focuses on leading SEN provision for pupils aged 11–19 with SEND/SEMH needs, supported by SLT and Education Directorates.

You will drive inclusive teaching, collaborate with local authorities, and champion high-quality outcomes for every pupil within a dynamic school setting.

Qualifications

• Must have SENCO qualification or near completion.
• Must have QTS status.
• Contribute to high-quality teaching and learning.
• Experience working with local authorities.
• Passion for helping all young people succeed.
• Ability to work within a supportive, committed staff team.
• High aspirations for self and others, with a commitment to development.
• Robust understanding of SEND Code of Practice.
• Understanding SEMH education and how to support SEMH pupils.
