Job summary

The Learning Experience in Weybridge is seeking an experienced SENCO Nursery Practitioner to join our welcoming team. You will plan and deliver activities that support children's development, while providing a safe, nurturing EYFS environment where children learn through play and grow with confidence.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and child protection.
• Experience in an early years setting (Nursery Nurse, Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or similar).
• A passion for early childhood education and commitment to excellence.
• Experience of working with children with SEND requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver activities that support children's development.
• Create a safe, nurturing, stimulating environment in line with EYFS.
• Track and celebrate developmental milestones; build positive relationships with families.
• Work with colleagues to maintain high standards of care.
• Follow safeguarding and child protection policies.
• Lead and champion support for children with SEND, ensuring active participation in learning and achievement of full potential.
• Collaborate with families, staff, and external professionals to deliver personalised support plans.
• Creating an inclusive, caring environment where every child feels valued and supported to reach their full potential.
