Penny Tree School in Birmingham is seeking an inspirational SENCO to lead our SEND provision, ensuring every pupil receives the right support to thrive.

You will shape high-quality SEND provision, work with SLT, teachers, pastoral and clinical teams, families and external professionals to understand needs and achieve EHCP outcomes.

This strategic role focuses on inclusion, data-informed planning and building a whole-school culture where pupils' voices are heard.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching status with SEND experience.
• Experience using assessment data to evaluate provision and plan next steps.
• Excellent communication with staff, families and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for SEND across the school.
• Coordinate EHCP provision, Annual Reviews and mapping.
• Collaborate with teachers, pastoral and clinical teams and families.
• Contribute to school improvement and staff development.
• Champion inclusion and ensure pupils access curriculum and activities.
