KPI Recruiting Ltd is recruiting a SENCO for a secondary school in East London (IG4). You will lead SEND provision and coordinate support to ensure every student receives the help they need to achieve their potential.

Working with teachers, assistants, parents and external agencies, you will develop inclusive teaching practices, oversee EHCPs, monitor progress and drive whole-school SEND improvement. A QTS and SENCO qualification are required, with a willingness to undertake the SENCO credential.

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has a degree and successful teaching experience within a secondary school.
• Holds a SENCO qualification or is willing to undertake the qualification.
• Has strong knowledge of SEND provision, inclusion and relevant legislation.
• Demonstrates excellent leadership, organisation and communication skills.
• Can build effective relationships with students, parents, staff and external agencies.
• Is passionate about improving outcomes for vulnerable learners.
• Can lead a team, use initiative and contribute to whole-school improvement.

Mansioni

• Lead and coordinate SEND provision across the school.
• Coordinate support and interventions for students with additional learning needs.
• Ensure statutory responsibilities relating to EHCPs and SEND provision are met.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, carers and external professionals.
• Monitor student progress, analyse data and identify appropriate interventions.
• Support and advise staff on inclusive teaching strategies and quality-first teaching.
• Lead and coordinate the effective deployment of teaching assistants.
• Develop personalised learning approaches to improve student achievement.
• Support transitions between schools and ensure continuity of provision.
• Contribute to staff training and the ongoing development of SEND practice.
