Job summary

Horizon Care and Education Group is seeking a SENCO to join the team at our brand new SEN school in Woking, Surrey. The role will lead SEN provision and work with Headteachers to deliver high-quality teaching and learning for pupils aged 5–19 with autism and SEN.

Qualifications

• Must hold a SENCO qualification or be close to completing.
• Must have a QTS status.
• Valuable contribution to high-quality teaching and learning.
• Experience with local authorities.
• Passion for ensuring all young people succeed.
• Robust understanding of SEND Code of Practice.
• Understanding of SEMH education and related needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop SEN provision within the school.
• Collaborate with Headteachers and the Managing Director of Education Services.
• Support delivery of high-quality teaching and learning for pupils with SEND.
• Work effectively within a supportive staff team to raise outcomes.
