Job summary

SENCO - Further Education College in Buckinghamshire requires an experienced SENCO to lead SEND provision across the college and oversee EHCP consultations, annual reviews, and placements.

Qualifications

• Strong FE College SEND experience.
• Experience with EHCPs and SEND Code of Practice.
• Experience liaising with local authorities and external agencies.
• Experience leading SEND/learning support teams.
• Data-driven monitoring of learner outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate SEND provision across the FE College.
• Lead on EHCP consultations, annual reviews and placements.
• Work with local authorities, families and external agencies.
• Advise on reasonable adjustments and SEND legislation.
• Lead, support and develop the SEND / Support for Learning team.
• Monitor learner support, progress and outcomes.
• Oversee specialist agencies and individual learner provision.
• Manage SEND funding and high-needs processes.
• Lead staff training and promote inclusive teaching practice.
• Monitor and improve the quality of SEND provision.
