  • Work collaboratively with the Headteacher, teaching staff, parents, external agencies, and the wider Aurora Group network to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to SEND.
  • Provide professional guidance, support, and training to staff on SEND matters to ensure high-quality inclusive teaching.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress and impact of SEND provision, adapting strategies as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Champion a culture of high expectations and inclusion for all students.
  • Manage and deploy SEND resources effectively, including a team of support staff where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate SEND records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Contribute to the overall leadership and development of this exciting new school.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and the National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO), or a willingness to complete it.

  • Demonstrable experience in leading, managing, and motivating a team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • A passion for SEND and a commitment to ensuring every child can succeed.
  • The ability to be adaptable, resilient, and proactive in a new school environment.
  • A commitment to the values and ethos of The Aurora Group, focusing on empowering individuals to grow and achieve.

Why Join Us?
