Job summary

Reeson Education is assisting an outstanding primary school in Braintree, Essex to recruit a dedicated SENCO for a September 2026 start. The SENCO will lead SEND provision for pupils with EHCPs and work to ensure every child can achieve their full potential within an inclusive and supportive environment.

You will identify and assess needs, develop and oversee individualised support plans, and provide guidance to teaching staff.

Qualifications

  • Qualified SENCO with recognised certification.
  • Experience with SEND and EHCPs.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others.

Job Title: SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator)

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SENCO to an outstanding Primary school in Braintree, Essex . As a SENCO, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including those with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP), are supported and enabled to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and assess the needs of students with SEND, including those with EHCPs
  • Develop and oversee individualised support plans, including provision of support for EHCP students
