Job summary

TipTopJob in Braintree is seeking a dedicated SENCO for a Primary school kickoff in September 2026. You will lead SEND provision, assess needs including EHCPs, and develop targeted support for learners with SEN.

You will work with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure high standards, provide staff training, and monitor progress. The school has OFSTED outstanding status and is committed to inclusive education.

Qualifications

• Recognised SENCO qualification and experience coordinating SEND provision.
• Experience supporting students with EHCPs and additional needs.
• Strong communication with staff, parents and external agencies.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams to deliver outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess needs of SEND students, including EHCPs.
• Develop and oversee individualised support plans and EHCP provision.
• Guide teaching staff and train them to meet SEN needs.
• Collaborate with parents, external agencies and authorities for support.
