Location: Andover
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR (SENCO Responsibility)

An inclusive and student-focused school in Andover is looking for a skilled and empathetic SENCO to lead special educational needs provision across the school. Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Overseeing EHCPs, needs assessments and access arrangements

  • Leading a team of LSAs, ELSAs and intervention staff

  • Coordinating with teaching staff to ensure inclusive classroom practices

  • Tracking student outcomes and leading on academic/pastoral interventions

  • Supporting staff training on SEND strategies and differentiated instruction

Ideal Profile:

  • QTS and SENCO qualification (or currently undertaking it)

  • Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and safeguarding frameworks

  • An empathetic and solution-focused approach to leadership

  • Excellent organisation, collaboration and communication skills

  • Enhanced DBS
