Job summary

Remedy Education in Dudley is seeking experienced SEN Tutors to provide one-to-one tuition for students with Special Educational Needs, helping them build confidence and re-engage with learning.

You'll deliver personalised lessons in core subjects including English, Maths and Science, plan and assess progress, and collaborate with families and schools while maintaining safeguarding and professionalism. DBS with Update Service or willingness to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• DBS enhanced and on Update Service or willing to obtain one.
• QTS or tutoring experience is desirable.
• Experience with SEN and diverse learning needs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, personalised one-to-one lessons tailored to each student's individual needs and learning style.
• Deliver tuition in core subjects, including English, Maths and Science.
• Adapt teaching strategies to support students with a range of SEN and barriers to learning.
• Build positive relationships that promote confidence, engagement and a love of learning.
• Monitor and assess progress, adapting lesson plans where appropriate to maximise outcomes.
• Complete weekly reports and provide regular feedback on attendance, engagement and progress.
• Work collaboratively with families, schools, local authorities and the Remedy Tutors team to ensure students receive the best possible support.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding and professionalism at all times.
