Job summary

Remedy Education in Dudley is seeking experienced SEN Tutors to provide flexible one-to-one tuition for students with Special Educational Needs. You will support learners to build confidence and re-engage with learning, addressing needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and more.

You will plan and deliver personalised lessons in core subjects (English, Maths, Science), adapting methods to suit individual needs. Strong safeguarding and collaboration with families are essential.

Qualifications

Experience delivering one-to-one SEN tuition
Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to obtain
QTS or tutoring experience is desirable

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver personalised one-to-one lessons.
Deliver tuition in core subjects, including English, Maths and Science.
Adapt teaching strategies to support students with SEN and barriers to learning.
Build positive relationships that promote confidence, engagement and a love of learning.
Monitor and assess progress, adapting lesson plans to maximise outcomes.
Complete weekly reports and provide regular feedback on attendance and progress.
Work collaboratively with families, schools, local authorities and Remedy Tutors team.
Maintain high standards of safeguarding and professionalism at all times
