Job summary

Remedy Education in Dudley is seeking experienced SEN Tutors to deliver one-to-one tuition in core subjects, helping students build confidence and re-engage with learning. You'll tailor lessons to each child's needs and learning style.

You will work flexibly on a paid hourly basis, with DBS Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) and QTS or tutoring experience desirable. Join a supportive team focused on safeguarding and positive educational outcomes.

Qualifications

• DBS check with Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant tutoring experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, personalised one-to-one lessons tailored to each student's needs.
• Deliver tuition in core subjects (English, Maths, Science).
• Adapt teaching strategies to support students with SEN and barriers to learning.
• Build positive relationships to promote confidence and engagement.
• Monitor progress and adapt lesson plans to maximise outcomes.
• Complete weekly reports on attendance, engagement and progress.
• Collaborate with families, schools and Remedy Tutors team to provide support.
• Maintain high safeguarding and professional standards.
