Qualifications

DBS: An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant tutoring experience is desirable.
Plan and deliver engaging, personalised one-to-one lessons tailored to each student's needs.
Deliver tuition in core subjects (English, Maths, Science).
Adapt teaching strategies for students with SEN and barriers to learning.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, personalised one-to-one lessons tailored to each student's individual needs and learning style.
Deliver tuition in core subjects, including English, Maths and Science.
Adapt teaching strategies to support students with SEN and barriers to learning.
Build positive relationships that promote confidence and engagement.
Monitor and assess progress, adapting lesson plans to maximise outcomes.
Complete weekly reports and provide regular feedback on attendance, engagement and progress.
Work with families, schools and local authorities to ensure student support.
Maintain high safeguarding and professionalism standards.
