Job summary

A leading educational recruitment agency is seeking an experienced SEN Tutor to provide personalised tuition to students with special educational needs in Dartford. Are you an experienced SEN Tutor looking to make a meaningful difference to young learners in Dartford? Academics is seeking a compassionate, patient, and skilled SEN Tutor to provide high-quality, personalised tuition to students with Special Educational Needs across the Dartford area.

The Role
  • Deliver 1:1 or small-group tuition tailored to individual learning plans
  • Support students with a range of needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, learning delays, speech & language needs)
  • Plan engaging sessions that build confidence, independence, and progress
  • Work collaboratively with parents, schools, and local authorities
  • Maintain accurate progress reports and adapt teaching approaches as needed
Requirements
  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN
  • A calm, nurturing approach and excellent communication skills
  • Strong behaviour management and differentiation abilitiesQTS, teaching qualification, or relevant tutoring/educational background
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one through Academics)
