Job summary

The Esland Group Ltd in Grantham is seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to deliver high-quality education to small groups and individuals, including outreach visits to children's homes. You will support learners aged 8 to 18 with SEMH and complex needs in a nurturing, inclusive setting.

Success will come from your passion for inspiring learners, flexibility, resilience, and strong planning and differentiation skills. The role offers a competitive salary and extensive staff benefits.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET), PTLLS, or equivalent.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (preferred).
  • Experience working with young people with SEMH and complex needs.
  • Proven ability to manage challenging behaviour.
  • Knowledge of vocational pathways and subjects.
  • Experience in 1:1 and small group tutoring.
  • Strong planning, evaluation, and differentiation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational abilities.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality education to small groups and individuals in school and outreach settings.
  • Support children aged 8 to 18 with SEMH and complex needs to reach their potential.
  • Contribute to a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
  • Implement a range of qualifications including Entry Level, Functional Skills, GCSEs, ASDAN, and Unit Awards.
