Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking dedicated SEN Tutors to provide 1:1 support to students across Wembley. Many learners are out of mainstream education and require personalised programmes, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and other SEND needs.

You will build positive relationships with learners and families while delivering tailored tuition. Key responsibilities include delivering engaging 1:1 sessions, adapting plans to EHCP targets, monitoring progress, and coordinating with parents, schools, and

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and young people with SEND.
• Strong understanding of ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and related needs.
• Ability to deliver personalised learning and adapt resources effectively.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, tailored 1:1 tuition sessions that meet each student’s individual educational and developmental needs.
• Support students with SEND who may have experienced disruption to their education.
• Adapt lesson plans to accommodate a range of learning profiles and EHCP targets.
• Promote confidence, independence, and positive engagement with learning.
• Use differentiated approaches to meet academic, social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
• Work with parents, carers, schools, and other professionals.
• Monitor, record, and report on student progress and outcomes.
