Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a SEN Tutor to provide one-to-one support for students with special educational needs in the Lancashire area. The role focuses on delivering learning plans and engaging, patient support to help students re-engage with learning.

The position is part-time with flexible hours during school terms, and reports are submitted weekly to monitor progress. Candidates should have QTS or equivalent, or tutoring experience, and be comfortable working with SEND students.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent or tutoring experience.
• UK classroom teaching experience preferred but not essential.
• Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box.
• Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1 to 1 support to students with SEN requirements.
• Create/deliver learning plans on a 1 to 1 basis.
• Submit weekly reports and monitor pupil progression.
