Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking tutors with experience in SEN settings to provide 1-to-1 support for pupils in the Thornton Clevelys area. The role focuses on engaging learners, devising personalized learning plans, and delivering lessons in homes or community settings during school hours.

The ideal candidate will be patient, empathetic and capable of monitoring progress with weekly reports. This part-time contract is based in the UK and offers flexible hours aligned with family schedules.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent or tutoring experience
• UK classroom teaching experience preferred but not essential
• Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
• Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver learning plans on a 1-to-1 basis
• Provide structure in the pupil's daily routine and re-engage learners
• Monitor progress with weekly reports and communicate with Prospero Teaching
