Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to work with children and young people with diverse learning needs. The role focuses on delivering 1:1 tailored lessons to boost engagement and attainment, using a creative, flexible and holistic approach to children’s educational journeys.

Contract/Position Details:

• Location - Within Wakefield, takes place in pupils home or at schools
• Position - SEN Tutor to support with core subjects
• Start date - ASAP
• Hours - Working hours can differentiate, typically between 8am to 4pm

To be eligible for this role:

• QTS or equivalent (including PGCE)
• Possess UK classroom teaching experience
• Hold the right to work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide professional references covering you for the last two years.
