Job summary

Alternative Learning is seeking an inspiring SEN Tutor to support vulnerable students in Maths, English and interventions at KS3 or foundation KS4 level. Deliver face-to-face lessons in students' homes and work closely with safeguarding specialists.

You will help students with SEND or SEMH needs re-engage with education, and hold a Full UK driving license for home visits. The role includes a 0-hours contract with guaranteed regular work and a strong commitment to safeguarding.

Qualifications

  • Must hold QTS/QTLS and be registered to teach in the UK.
  • Experience tutoring students with SEND or SEMH needs.
  • Full UK driving license is required for home visits.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver face-to-face home-based lessons in Maths and English for KS3 and foundation KS4.
  • Collaborate with safeguarding specialists to support vulnerable students.
  • Support students with SEND/SEMH to re-engage with education.
