Job summary

Keys Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to support vulnerable students in Maths, English and interventions at KS3 or foundation KS4 level, delivering face-to-face home tuition.

You will work with safeguarding specialists, help students with SEND or SEMH re-engage with education, and benefit from fully funded training, enhanced pay scales and a generous benefits package as part of Keys' national network of alternative learning solutions.

Qualifications

  • Experience with SEND or SEMH needs in tutoring.
  • Commitment to students with SEND and safeguarding awareness.
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence, access to own vehicle and valid business insurance/MOT.

Alternative Learning is looking for an inspiring SEN Tutor to support vulnerable students in Maths, English and interventions at KS3 or foundation KS4 level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver face-to-face lessons in students' homes

Requirements
  • A committed and passionate view of students with SEND
  • Experience of tuition of children with SEND or SEMH needs
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence, have access to your own vehicle, and be able to provide evidence of valid business insurance and a current MOT.

We support young people who are unable to access mainstream education due to SEMH needs, EBSNA, anxiety or SEND needs. Our personalised approach includes face-to-face home tuition, online lessons with subject specialists and outdoor learning through PEAK activity centres.

We're expanding in your area and offering flexible tutoring roles. While the contract is 0-hours, we guarantee regular work.
