Job summary

Keys Education is seeking a SEN Tutor to deliver face-to-face home tuition in the Glossop area, focusing on Maths, English and interventions for KS3/KS4 foundation level. The role supports learners with SEND/SEMH and collaborates with safeguarding colleagues.

Applicants should have experience tutoring SEND/SEMH, a committed outlook toward vulnerable learners, and a valid UK driving licence with access to a vehicle and business insurance evidence. Flexible tutoring with regular work is offered.

Qualifications

  • Commitment to supporting students with SEND.
  • Experience tutoring children with SEND or SEMH.
  • Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle and evidence of business insurance and MOT.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver face-to-face lessons in students' homes.
  • Work with safeguarding specialists to ensure student safety.
  • Support students with SEND/SEMH to re-engage with education.

Alternative Learning is looking for an inspiring SEN Tutor to support vulnerable students in Maths, English and interventions at KS3 or foundation KS4 level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver face-to-face lessons in students' homes
  • Work closely with our safeguarding specialists
  • Help students with SEND or SEMH needs re-engage with education
Requirements:
  • A committed and passionate view of students with SEND
  • Experience of tuition of children with SEND or SEMH needs
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence, have access to your own vehicle, and be able to provide evidence of valid business insurance and a current MOT.

We support young people who are unable to access mainstream education due to SEMH needs, EBSNA, anxiety or SEND needs. Our personalised approach includes face-to-face home tuition, online lessons with subject specialists and outdoor learning through PEAK activity centres.

We're expanding in your area and offering flexible tutoring roles. While the contract is 0-hours, we guarantee regular work.
