Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated SEN Tutors to provide personalised one-to-one tuition to primary and secondary SEN learners across Redruth and surrounding areas.

You will work with students who have autism, ADHD, SEMH and other SEND needs, helping them overcome barriers and make progress toward their goals through flexible, one-to-one sessions in schools, community settings or learners' homes. This role offers flexible hours and meaningful, locally impactful work with ongoing CPD.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with SEN/SEND children or young people
  • Experience in mainstream and/or specialist SEN settings
  • Ability to travel across Redruth and surrounding areas
  • Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised one-to-one tuition to SEN learners
  • Adapt lessons and teaching strategies around individual needs

Job description

Make a Meaningful Difference to SEN Learners

TP Tutors is looking for dedicated and compassionate SEN Tutors to provide personalised one-to-one tuition to primary and secondary SEN learners across Redruth and the surrounding areas.

You'll work with students who have a range of special educational needs and additional needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH and other SEND needs. Your support will help learners overcome barriers to education, develop confidence and make progress towards their individual goals.

Role Details
  • Location: Redruth and surrounding areas
  • Learners: Primary and secondary SEN students
  • Contract: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities
  • Pay: £25-£30 per hour
  • Delivery: One-to-one tuition in schools, community settings or learners' homes

Essential Requirements

  • Previous teaching, tutoring, mentoring or education experience
  • Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
  • Ability to support primary and/or secondary SEN learners
  • Ability to travel across Redruth and surrounding areas
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
