Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd is seeking experienced SEN Tutors to provide personalised one-to-one tuition for primary and secondary SEN learners in Bridport and surrounding areas.

You’ll tailor sessions around individual strengths and aims, working with learners who may have autism, ADHD, SEMH or other needs. Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities in schools, community venues or learners’ homes are available.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with SEN/SEND children or young people
  • Experience in mainstream and/or specialist SEN environments
  • Previous teaching, tutoring, mentoring or education experience
  • Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
  • Ability to travel throughout Bridport and surrounding areas
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualised tuition to SEN students
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs
  • Support primary and/or secondary learners
  • Help students develop academic skills and confidence

TP Tutors is looking for experienced SEN Tutors to provide personalised one-to-one tuition to primary and secondary SEN students throughout Bridport and the surrounding areas.

You’ll work with learners who may have autism, ADHD, SEMH or other special educational needs, tailoring every session around their individual strengths, challenges and learning goals.

Your Opportunity
  • Pay: £25–£30 per hour
  • Location: Bridport and surrounding areas
  • Students: Primary and secondary SEN learners
  • Contract: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
