Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking passionate SEN Tutors to support students with diverse learning needs. This role focuses on planning and delivering tailored lessons, adapting to individual styles, and tracking progress to foster confidence and independence.

Ideal candidates bring SEN teaching experience and relevant qualifications, with flexibility for both in-person and online tutoring. A supportive team environment and ongoing professional development are offered.

Qualifications

  • Experience in SEN teaching (Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, etc.)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt lessons to various learning styles
  • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to student success
  • Qualified in education or SEN qualifications (QTS/PGCE/SEN)

Responsibilities

  • Plan lessons and resources around the student's needs
  • Plan and deliver engaging sessions
  • Apply skills to raise pupils' confidence
  • Manage children with challenging behaviour
  • Track the learning progress of the student and provide monthly reports
  • Engage in outdoor activities such as learning about plants and nature
  • Use visuals to support communication when needed

We are currently looking for experienced and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Tutors to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of students. If you're passionate about helping children with unique learning needs and thrive in a personalised teaching environment, we want to hear from you!

Ideal Candidates:
  • Have experience in SEN teaching (Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, etc.)
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to adapt lessons to suit a variety of learning styles
  • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to student success
  • Qualified in education or relevant SEN-related fields (QTS/PGCE/SEN qualifications)
This tutor role involves:
  • planning lessons and resources around the student's needs. This could be in the core subjects or life skills;
  • plan and deliver engaging sessions.
  • apply skills to raise pupils' confidence.
  • manage children with challenging behaviour.
  • track the learning progress of the student to achieve their desired learning outcomes and being able to provide monthly reports.
  • potentially engage in outdoor activities such as learning about plants and nature with the student,
  • learn about visuals to communicate in some cases.
