Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of needs in a nurturing classroom in South Yorkshire. You will assist the class teacher, adapt materials, and help pupils access lessons.

The role offers flexible arrangements (full-time, part-time or flexible), competitive daily rates paid weekly via PAYE, and access to free CPD and training to develop skills in SEN support.

Competenze

• Experience with SEN is desirable but not essential.
• Patient, empathetic and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Level 2/3 TA qualifications are advantageous.
• Ability to adapt materials and support personalised learning.

SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking for dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team and support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people.

Location: Sout Yorkshire

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Flexible

Salary: Competitive Rate

Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm

About the Role

• Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and adapting materials to meet individual needs.
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
• Support pupils with personal care and mobility where required.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children with SEN (desirable but not essential).
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviour in a positive and constructive manner.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) are advantageous.
