Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of additional needs in Doncaster-area schools. This full-time role starts in September and offers long-term placement within primary, secondary and specialist settings.

You will collaborate with teachers to promote engagement, independence and positive learning outcomes across the school day, with a focus on safeguarding and pupil welfare in a supportive environment.

The schools are looking to appoint a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant for a September start on a long-term basis. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will provide tailored support to pupils with a variety of additional needs, working closely with teaching staff to promote engagement, independence and positive learning outcomes across the school day.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
