We are seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join mainstream primary schools acrossPoulton-le-Fylde and Wyre. Whether you prefer full-time, part-time, or supply work, we have flexible positions tailored to fit your availability.

SEN Teaching Assistants Needed for Primary Schools in Blackpool and Fylde Coast

Location: Poulton-le-Fylde and Wyre

Salary:£13.50 - £14.50 per hour

Job Type:Full-time, Part-time, Supply Work

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to students with SEN, including Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and other SEN requirements.
  • Assist in the implementation of Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs)
  • Support students with learning difficulties or disabilities.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to meet students' needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSE qualifications.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Experience working with children or young people.
  • Understanding of Special Educational Needs.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Additional training or qualifications in SEN support.
  • Experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
