About the Teaching Assistant role:

As an Teaching Assistant, you'll have the chance to work in a fantastic SEN school. The school is based centrally to the Skipton area and you will be working with a variety of students on a whole class and 1-1 basis.

Key Responsibilities as an Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide 1:1 and group support for children, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their goals.
  • Assist in implementing tailored learning and behaviour plans for pupils with a range of needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to create a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Support pupils' emotional and social development, encouraging independence and confidence.
