Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking Learning Support Assistants in Andover, Hampshire to support pupils with SEN or SEMH needs. You will work 1:1, in small groups, and in practical activities, helping pupils feel supported and engaged throughout the school day.

Full training is provided; prior SEN/SEMH experience is helpful but not required. You will join supportive school teams and have access to ongoing development opportunities, with DBS checks required for all roles.

Pay: £14.25 per hour

We’re looking for caring, positive, and reliable Learning Support Assistants to join specialist schools in the Andover area.

These settings support children and young people with a range of additional needs including autism, complex learning needs, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

This is a rewarding role where relationships matter. You’ll help pupils feel supported, build confidence, develop independence, and engage positively with school life.

Working alongside teachers and support staff, you’ll support pupils throughout the day both in and out of the classroom through a mixture of 1:1 support, small group work, and practical learning activities.
