Job summary

St. Nicolas is a friendly, supportive school within The Diocese of Coventry Multi Academy Trust. We are seeking a motivated SEN teaching assistant to support learning, assist with personal care and toileting, and help pupils succeed within a nurturing-mainstream setting.

This fixed-term post runs 32.5 hours per week across 39 weeks, with a start ASAP and a closing date in October 2026. DBS checks and safeguarding are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 / equivalent qualification.
• Experience working with children with SEN.
• Passionate about supporting children's learning.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with personal care and toileting needs.
• Implement bespoke interventions for individual pupils.
• Facilitate integration between nurture provision and mainstream classrooms.

About This Role

The role will include supporting pupils with personal care and toileting needs, implementing bespoke interventions and facilitating successful integration between nurture provision and mainstream classroom environments.
